Bad Astronomy Newsletter #24a Contents:
0) This newsletter is just an addendum to the last one I sent out a couple of days ago.
1) TechTV interview airs either Tuesday or Wednesday I called the folks at TechTV, and there were problems editing the segment with interviews of Bart Sibrel and me. I was told it will air either tonight or tomorrow night, 8:30 p.m. Eastern (US) time. I'm sorry about all these changes! Check out their website.
2) Mark Hazlewood's Yahoo!Group In the last email, I mentioned a quotation from Mark Hazlewood's Yahoo!Group about Planet X and the attack on the United States last year. I put in a link to his group. The problem is, you have to join his group to read the original post! You can join his group if you'd like, of course. You'd be surprised at what gets said there. I'll note that I was banned from his group some time ago. You can read about that on my bulletin board. I guess he doesn't want his readers to be able to make an informed opinion based on all available information. Shocker. Of course, to him I am just another government disinformation agent... :-)
3) Subscribe/Unsubscribe Information If, for some weird reason, you want to unsubscribe to this newsletter, just send email to badastronomy-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com with no body text. Make sure you send it from the address to which the newsletter is sent! Alternatively, you can unsubscribe from the Yahoo!Groups website. Go to http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/groups/groups-32.html for more info. Remember, the newsletters will be archived on the website at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/badastronomy so even if you unsubscribe you can still read them there. I suggest staying subscribed so you get them as soon as I send them. Also, I do not sell your email addresses and neither does Yahoo! Take a gander at the Yahoo!Groups privacy message if it makes you feel better: http://privacy.yahoo.com/privacy/us/ Note that the email addresses are visible to me, but I have no prurient use for them. If that makes you nervous for whatever reason, feel free to unsubscribe and simply read the archived newsletters at the website listed above.
